In a move that will positively shape the landscape of tennis in the U.S., starting in 2012, new rules will require that all USTA-sanctioned tournaments for kids 10 and under will be played using the nets and specifications of 10 and Under Tennis. That means equipment and courts will now be “right-sized” for the game’s youngest competitors, increasing the likelihood that kids will have fun, return to the sport and continue to improve.
